CM-MGMP
Chief Minister's Meghalaya Grassroots Music Program (CM-MGMP) is an unique program conceived by the Meghalaya Government & Meghalaya Tourism to help promote talented local musicians, bands, dancers and drama troupes of the state. It was started in the year 2022 and currently it is in it's 3rd Season.
CM-MGMP has provided platform to more than 2000 artists in Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills.
Chief Minister's Meghalaya Grassroots Music Program (CM-MGMP) is open to all bands, solo singers, musicians, dance troupes and drama groups who is a permanent resident of Meghalaya. Age, language, genre no bar, however, we encourage the artists to sing more of their own original compositions as much as possible.
